You aren’t any different to most people reading this article. You want to get your business name and details in front of your key customers and you want them to purchase your products and/or services. There are plenty of excellent promotional stationery items that will help you do just that. Stationery products are always appreciated and required. Following are a few popular ideas.

An obvious starting point is your customers’ desktops. Your goal is to ensure your corporate colours don their desks with different promotional products printed with your logo and details. Products such as pen pots, paperclip dispensers, paper blocks and memo holders are all popular choices. It is a good idea to use one supplier for everything so that they can help you colour coordinate the products you purchase from month to month. Remember that many of these products are manufactured in the Far East by hundreds of different factories. By using a promotional gift supplier who works closely and directly with one or two of these factories will help you ensure your gifts are the same or similar colours from order to order.

You also want to fill your customers’ desk drawers with useful stationery products such as rulers, large and small plastic printed paperclips, pencil sharpeners and letter openers, carefully colour coordinated to ensure they know your look. If you plan your gifts carefully or ask your supplier to provide you with a corporate gift scheme service, choosing colour coordinated products for you, your company will take over your customers’ desk in a way that is not only accepted but very much appreciated!

How Keywords Affect Your Website Rankings

I was going through some posts in one of the very popular forums recently and saw to my surprise that some guy said he got ranked on the 5th position out of about 13 million results in google less than 5 hours after he got indexed. That, of course got me wondering. I took a look at the keyword he targeted and knew immediately that the keyword would never earn him a dime. Why, because he was targeting keywords no one was looking for.

These days, you will find that there are many people who will tell you that they can easily get indexed and ranked favorably high within 24 hours. I am not saying it is not possible. But the majority of the tactics are complete blackhat. So, how do you choose the right keywords for your website?

This takes a lot of thinking because sometimes what we think people should be searching for comes out as completely different from what they are really searching for. In the hey days, to was such a very heavy task to try and put yourself in shoes of your potential client or website visitor and think like they would. Of course this never works most of time because we really don’t know what is going on in their heads. But thankfully, there are lots of keyword tools online that you can use to brainstorm.

To rank higher, you would have to start using keywords that may not have huge volumes but are extremely targeted. These are often referred to as long tail keywords. If you are starting out, these are the keywords to target unless you stumble on a market that has not even been tapped at all. Use the keyword tools to determine what keywords to use. The keywords you are looking for are mostly 3-5 word phrases. Once you dominate these keywords, you will be able to rank very high in the search engines.

The term office supplies is a generic term that encompasses all products that are used in the office by businesses and other types of organizations. These products include paperclips, staples, pens and pencils, envelopes and paper. Larger, more expensive products, such as computers, printers, fax machines, photocopiers, and cash registers, are also included in the classification of office supplies. Also included are office furniture, such as cubicles, chairs and desks.

Office supplies are the single largest, as well as the most important expense in most businesses. This is the reason why the office supply industry is a £100 billion industry and is still growing. The revenue of some of the largest retail distributors of office supplies can exceed £6 billion a year.

Today most office supply companies have also expanded into providing services related to the business, such as acting as copy centers, and creating products such as business cards and personalized business stationary. These services are also adding to the overall value of this industry.

For businesses, the cost of office supplies is a very large part of their budget. The initial cost will be the largest part of their business. They will need to first furnish their offices, as well as buy computers, printers, and fax machines. These purchases alone are a very large investment that can exceed as much as £10,000, depending on the size of the office. Alone, the cost of paperclips, staples, paper, pens, and pencils do not cost very much. However, the large number of these products required to run a business will add up.

Typically, anything used in an office is considered an office supply. Although not widely recognized, cleaning supplies used in the office can also be classified as an office supply. Products used to clean the computers, the floors, and even the restrooms can also be called office supplies.
